Legally
Improving Your Credit Score
Introduction
There are many
confusions about credit scores out there. Many believe
that they don’t have a credit score and
many think that their credit scores just don’t
really matter. These sorts of confusions can jeopardize your
chances at some jobs, at good interest rates, and even your
chances of getting some apartments.

Debt Free Living - 5 Tips To Get Out
Of Debt
By Justin Koh
A few times I wonder what sort of credit system
moved the global economy 200 years ago. If the intention
of getting into a business is meant to 'help' fulfill
the needs and wants of someone, I don't see how credit
card salesmen can drove more people into debt and
backruptcy. Clearly most people fail to have a good
understanding of the increasingly sophisticated (and
complicated) terms and conditions behind the card they
apply for, how it benefits the bank more than the
applicant and what the ubiquitous card is best used for.

Top 5 Tips to Becoming Debt Free
If you feel that you're life won't be under control until you're debt free, you're not alone. In fact, there are millions of people worldwide who also feel that until they're debt free, they can't do the things they want to.
The good news is that you can fix this problem. The following tips are proven methods to help you achieve your goal of being debt free, and sooner than you think.
1. Don’t Ignore The Problem
The first part of becoming debt free is admitting that you have debt in the first place; too many people sweep it under the carpet and hope that it'll go away. This is the biggest mistake you can make - instead of going away, your debt will continue to grow. Admit you have debt, and face it head on.
2. Prioritise
The secret to becoming debt free quickly is to know how to best manage your debts. After all, what's the point of paying a large debt off if the smaller one is causing all the interest? Find out what debt needs your immediate attention, and work back from there.
3. Talk About It
You'd be surprised at just how eager how companies you owe money to want to help you, if you fall behind with payments. They'd rather see you debt free as well, since it costs them money to pursue you through courts, etc. So call them up and arrange a payment plan - even the smallest amount to each company will soon see you debt free.
4. Save Your Money
Okay, so this might sound obvious, but by looking at your spending habits, you can soon start to save money, which you can then use to pay your loans and other commitments. If you're serious about getting yourself debt free, start with the basics - buy supermarket brands instead of name brands, for example. There's a lot you can do that will save you more money than you'd think.
5. Destroy Your Store Cards
Although useful, store cards are some of the worst culprits when it comes to holding back people who want to be debt free. With interest rates as high as 30%, it will take forever to make any headway into a store cards interest as well as pay other loans off. So destroy that card and start taking back control of your life.
Although there are many other ways for you to set yourself on the road to becoming debt free, these are some of the easiest, and ones you can put into use immediately. It won’t be easy, and you’ll have to show discipline, but as long as you are determined to sort yourself out, you’ll be debt free before you know it.
