American Express: More About American Express Credit Cards


American Express is a financial services company headquartered in the American Express Tower, which is the center of the World Financial Center in New York City. It is a world renowned firm offering credit and charge cards as well as being the first firm to develop and introduce the Travelers check. It is one of the largest firms and is one of the 30 stocks that encompass the Dow Jones Industrial Average. The common stocks of the company trade in the NYSE.

Preferred Rewards Green Card: There are no preset spending limits; the card offers rewards for all purchases, and these points can be converted into 1 mile per point.

One From American Express®: Purchases can be converted to high yielding savings, a special savings rate of 5% AYP.

Blue Cash®: offers up to 5% cash back, 0 APR, no annual fee, and unlimited cash rewards.

Blue For Students®: no annual fees plus offers a fee-free rewards program.

Blue Sky From American Express: points earn free travel; the points can be used in airlines, hotels, or cruise liners.
Optima® Platinum Card®: no annual fee, no transfer on balance fee and fee-free rewards program.

Clear from American Express®: no fee of any kind, 0 APR for 12 months, 3.99% fixed APR on balance transfers, flexible pay back options, user friendly credit report etc.

American Express also offers Airline cards, Hotel, lifestyle, senior citizen, gift, Costco cards. The gift cards can be personalized too and cost about $3.95 per card plus shipping. Gift cards are available in denominations of $25, $50, $100 and $500 and the personalized cards in denominations of $25, $35, $50, $75, $100, $200, $250 and $500.
American Express seems to have a card to meet the needs of almost anyone who desire to purchase a card. The rewards offered plus the benefits are lures to the public, who will definitely gain if they use credit cards prudently with good management tactics.
